La Esencia de la Flor

Cookie policy

Last updated: 19 October 2026.

1. Who is responsible for this website?

This website is operated by Daniel Benítez Durán, trading as La Esencia de la Flor, tax identification number 49190439V, at Ctra. El Puerto, camino cortijillo, 5, Spain. For questions about cookies or personal data, contact info@laesenciadelaflor.com. Please also read our Privacy policy.

2. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They can remember a session, support shopping features or measure how a website is used. Session cookies normally expire when the browser session ends; persistent cookies remain until their expiry date or until you delete them. Local storage, session storage and tracking pixels may perform related functions without being cookies.

3. Cookies observed before the shop integrations were retired

The following cookies were observed during a fresh visit to the public homepage on 19 October 2026, before the shop integrations were deactivated later that day. WooCommerce and Mailchimp integrations have since been disabled. Their cookie entries below document the earlier configuration; they are not a statement that those disabled integrations still run. Previously stored cookies can remain in your browser until they expire or you delete them. They are stored on the laesenciadelaflor.com domain. Actual use depends on the pages visited, browser settings and services used; the durations below reflect that review rather than a guarantee that every visitor will receive every cookie.

Google Analytics — audience measurement

_ga helps distinguish visitors. _ga_DZZC84S9RM maintains Google Analytics session information. Provider: Google. Purpose: audience measurement and website usage statistics. Both had an expiry of approximately 400 days in the review. Visits may refresh the expiry date, and browser restrictions may shorten retention. These are analytics cookies, not cookies needed to display the portfolio or send a contact enquiry.

WooCommerce — visit and order attribution

sbjs_current and sbjs_first record current and first visit sources. sbjs_current_add and sbjs_first_add hold related visit details. sbjs_udata stores attribution information about the visitor. sbjs_migrations supports the tracking feature’s internal version changes. These six cookies were session cookies in the review.

sbjs_session tracks the current attribution session and page activity. Its observed expiry was approximately 30 minutes. Provider: WooCommerce / Sourcebuster, running on this website. These cookies associate visits and referral sources with orders; they are separate from essential shopping-cart functionality.

4. Former shopping and account features

The shop, basket, checkout and customer-account pages are no longer published, and WooCommerce is disabled. The following describes operational cookies associated with the former shop and is retained for reference. WordPress may still use authentication cookies for administrators who sign in. Examples include woocommerce_cart_hash and woocommerce_items_in_cart (session cookies for basket changes), wp_woocommerce_session_* (normally two days, to locate basket information), and WordPress authentication cookies for signed-in users. These examples depend on the action taken and were not present in the fresh homepage visit. Authentication retention depends on the login settings, including whether you choose to remain signed in.

5. Mailchimp and other storage

The Mailchimp for WooCommerce integration has been deactivated. Its connected-site and tracking-pixel scripts were present in the earlier review described above. Those services can process visit or interaction information when enabled. No separate Mailchimp cookie was recorded during the fresh homepage review, so this policy does not assign an unverified cookie name or duration to that service. Its handling of data is described in Intuit’s Privacy Statement.

WordPress also used the session-storage entry wpEmojiSettingsSupports to cache the browser’s emoji support. This is a technical browser feature check rather than an audience-measurement cookie. No local-storage entries were recorded during that homepage review.

6. Your choices and the current configuration

Cookies strictly necessary to provide a service you request can be used without optional-cookie consent. Non-essential analytics or marketing technologies require prior consent where applicable; simply continuing to browse does not constitute consent.

In the earlier review, Google Analytics and WooCommerce attribution cookies were set during the initial homepage visit, and Mailchimp scripts loaded without an on-page consent choice. WooCommerce attribution and the Mailchimp integration have since been disabled; Google Analytics remains configured separately. No cookie-preference control was displayed in that visit. This policy records that review and the subsequent retirement of the shop integrations; it does not represent that a consent mechanism is already in place.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser’s privacy settings, including settings for this domain. Deleting cookies removes existing records but does not itself stop a website from setting them again on a later visit. To prevent this, also block cookies or the relevant tracking services. Blocking essential cookies may affect sign-in, shopping or checkout.

Instructions are available for Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

7. Third-party processing and international transfers

Google and Intuit/Mailchimp may process information outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area, according to their service arrangements and applicable transfer safeguards. For their processing practices and the safeguards relevant to their services, consult Google’s Privacy Policy and Intuit’s Privacy Statement. Cookie names alone do not establish where all subsequent data processing occurs.

8. Further information and updates

For more information about your data protection rights and how to exercise them, see our Privacy policy or contact info@laesenciadelaflor.com. You can also contact the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

We will update this policy when the website’s cookies or services change. The review above covers the public homepage in a fresh browser session; it is not an exhaustive record of every authenticated, checkout or payment-provider interaction.
